AIIMS Antibiotic Policy

This application has been developed by the Department of Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi, with inputs from various surgical and medical disciplines at the institute. The antibiotic policy has been developed based on the hospital antibiogram and available recent literature. Also, this policy has been developed keeping the adult population in mind and should not be extrapolated to the paediatric age group. User discretion is advised when following this policy document, as antibiotic choice should be guided by the local antibiogram.

This is the first such initiative from the department of Medicine at AIIMS. We expect users to provide us with constructive feedback's in order to help us in regularly updating the content as well as to make it error free.

इस एप्लिकेशन को चिकित्सा विभाग, एम्स नई दिल्ली द्वारा विकसित किया गया है, जिसमें संस्थान में विभिन्न सर्जिकल और मेडिकल विषयों के इनपुट हैं। एंटीबायोटिक नीति को अस्पताल के एंटीबायोग्राम और हाल ही में उपलब्ध साहित्य के आधार पर विकसित किया गया है। साथ ही, इस नीति को वयस्क आबादी को ध्यान में रखते हुए विकसित किया गया है और इसे बाल चिकित्सा आयु वर्ग के लिए अतिरिक्त नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। इस नीति दस्तावेज़ का पालन करते समय उपयोगकर्ता विवेक की सलाह दी जाती है, क्योंकि स्थानीय एंटीबायोग्राम द्वारा एंटीबायोटिक विकल्प को निर्देशित किया जाना चाहिए।

एम्स में मेडिसिन विभाग की ओर से इस तरह की यह पहली पहल है। हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि उपयोगकर्ता हमें रचनात्मक प्रतिक्रिया प्रदान करने के लिए सामग्री को नियमित रूप से अद्यतन करने के साथ-साथ इसे त्रुटि मुक्त बनाने में हमारी मदद करें।
